Queen of Peace, obtain for us the grace to establish and assure that the peace in our own lives will light the way for others. We pray that all nations will seek tranquility, that the Kingdom of God may prevail. This we ask through Jesus Christ, thy Son, our Lord. Amen.
The Order of Our Lady is a path of spiritual growth, devotion, and service for women in The Liberal Catholic Church. Our mission is to become more complete embodiments of Our Lady’s love and compassion and to spread her light, blessing, and consolation into the world.
There are chapters of the Order in parishes in Australia, Europe, and North America.
This is the website of the New Mexico chapter of the Order. Women from the parishes of Our Lady Queen of Angels LCC in Rio Rancho and St. Michael the Protector LCC in Mountainair founded this chapter in January 2011.
We meet monthly and have developed a Rule of Life for our use. We have also chosen particular liturgy to open and close our meetings. In November 2011 we embarked on a Prayer Project, to offer daily intercessory prayer for those whom we know are facing particular challenges.
We will hold our next meeting on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in Rio Rancho, at 2 pm. Women members of The Liberal Catholic Church who are interested in our Order are very welcome to join us.
